ABOUT THE EVENT
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced schools to close and to teach classes in some virtual or remote model. Millions of students around the world saw their daily routines interrupted or disrupted overnight, and we were thrust into circumstances that have forced us to quickly change and adapt to maintain an essential right that cannot afford the luxury of closing: education.
Everything seems to indicate that we are heading towards a hybrid teaching model that combines face-to-face with digital alternatives, taking the best of both worlds. This will accelerate changes in skills that are considered fundamental to adapt to a new normality, and this presents us with enormous challenges at educational and employment levels.
At National Geographic Learning, we are thrilled to invite you to our first Central American ELT Symposium. This event, exclusive for this region, integrates three relevant and powerful sessions carefully selected and thought to add educational value to English Teachers at all levels and in all classrooms -from very young learners to young adults/adults, and from face-to-face classrooms to virtual ones- which impacts the new normality in English education.
